LOI FOR MAJOR MODIFICATION SERVICE TO A MAJOR PLATFORM
A letter of intent for provision of existing facilities modification services for a major platform in Vietnam has been signed between Alpha ECC and its long-term client. The platform, part of a full field development in phase 1, is one of major projects offshore South Vietnam. Exploiting from the depth of approximately 56 m, the platform is supplying 150 million standard cubic feet of gas per day (MMSCFD) on the continual basis (and 200 MMSCFD on intermittent basis). Out of this output, the operation involves a re-injection of 100 MMSCFD, an export of 50 MMSCFD, and an incremental condensate production of 13,000 barrels per day (BPD). Our scope of work is to make WHP-C modification, hook up new bridge with existing well head platform. The main campaign is expected to finish in two months, with 60 staff on rotational shift work. A similar project was successfully completed by Alpha ECC last year on another platform for this joint venture company.
