SUCCESSFUL FAT FOR FIRST OVERHEAD CRANES FOR DRILLING INDUSTRY
AlphaECC was given a great opportunity to build these overhead cranes for National Oilwell Varco – NOV who is leading in rig systems and drilling solutions in the world.
Though there was challenge in schedule, the equipment were finally completed with successful FAT which earns the company so precious experiences that future similar projects will be surely obtained with smoothness as every detail from procurement, fabrication, machining, assembly etc., to schedule control and internal test are systematically recorded. These 3 cranes weight almost 30,000kgs in fabrication, 40 tons SWL per each.
Obviously, building such products is a great opportunity to tremendously upgrade the project team’s workmanship with equipment operated by both electrical and hydraulic systems.
